At Crowleys DFK, we take our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seriously as an employer and service provider. We measure our success not only in financial terms, but also in building client satisfaction and employee engagement, and supporting our community.
We focus our CSR activities in the following key areas:
Teamwork, effective management of our people and personal development are the cornerstones of our values. We respect the skills, knowledge and experience of others while demonstrating commitment to each other as a team. We believe that we cannot provide our clients with consistent, high quality services without investing in the safety, well-being and development of our people.
Training and career development
Nurturing the professional growth and wellbeing of others while continuously developing our business expertise is a core value of our firm. We are focused on making Crowleys DFK a place where people feel supported, and can develop their skills and long term career. We keep fully up to date through on-going training and professional development of our partners and staff. We follow current methodologies and best practice models in our profession.
We fully recognise the benefit of a sensible work/life balance for all of our people. We provide staff with flexible working conditions when required e.g. ability to work from home, study leave etc. Staff receive generous holiday entitlements and are encouraged to use their full holiday allowances each year.
We also understand the importance of our people getting to know each other outside the office. We organise regular social activities and we encourage our people to participate. We recently launched our Crowleys DFK Walking/Running Club, with our firm sponsoring staff participation in various charity walks throughout the year.
Health and safety of staff
We are committed to providing a working environment which is both safe and ensures the health and safety of our staff. We have a formal health and safety policy, which underlines our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. All incidents and accidents are reported to the appointed Health and Safety Officer, who ensures that they are investigated and that any necessary steps are taken to prevent recurrence.
Workplace wellbeing is very important to Crowleys DFK. We celebrated Ireland’s National Workplace Wellbeing Day on April 8th 2016 and it was a huge success in the firm. Fruit bowls and smoothies were provided in both of our offices, and all staff members received a two-week gym membership.
We are committed to identifying and developing client opportunities without compromising on quality and integrity. We are devoted to creating value for clients by building strong relationships, providing quality advice and delivering an excellent service.
At Crowleys DFK, we take pride in our personal approach with customers. We encourage regular communication between partners and all levels of staff. This results in the prompt delivery of expert advice and a value added service to our clients.
We are committed to engaging, learning from, respecting and supporting our community. Located in Dublin and Cork, our offices are situated in the heart of each business community. We strive to be a good corporate citizen recognising our responsibility to work in partnership with the communities in which we operate.
We recognise that employee volunteering and participating in charitable initiatives create valuable opportunities for personal development and teamwork. We support our staff in fundraising for charities and voluntary work.
